Terms and Conditions
We have tried to keep the fine print to minimum. Its important for you and for us that you read it at least once.
Hands On Day training is provided by Maventor Pty Ltd – ABN 49 134 677 508 (”Hands On Day“) is governed by the terms and conditions set out below (”this Agreement“). Without limiting the way in which you may be bound by this Agreement, by signing a document agreeing to be bound by this Agreement, by clicking a button on your computer screen including your acceptance of this Agreement, or by proceeding to use the Services you (the “Client“) will be deemed to have accepted and will be bound by the terms and conditions of this Agreement.These registration conditions set out your agreement with Maventor and apply to the Events you have specified and for which you wish to register, to the exclusion of all other terms & conditions issued or stipulated by anyone else other than Maventor.
Registrations
(a) Registrations can be made by via assigned online purchase page on www.eventarc.com a third party online event registration website. Which can be reached through the register page on our website www.handonday.com/register.aspx. Your place is confirmed once payment inclusive of GST has been received and an online ticket or tickets have been issued by www.eventarc.com(b) If you wish to register more than one person for an event you can do so at the same time by purchasing more "tickets on single registration. These guests may be either another employee of your company or any other person you would like to attend the event with you. If you are not participating yourself then please notify us of the particulars of those attending for our records using our contact page http://www.handsonday.com/contact.aspx
(c) Our events have limited spacing; registrations are made on a first-come, first-served basis. Confirmations are sent to the person making the registration.
(d) To ensure that your event materials and catering requirements are able to be provided at the event, please register by 5pm two working days prior to the event. Registrations can still be lodged after this time, however please note that in some cases event materials and/or catering cannot be guaranteed for last minute registrations. In these instances event materials will be forwarded to delegates after the event.
(e) Maventor does not guarantee event being run, even if client has paid and received online ticket and confirmation , Events can and are cancelled or postponed at last minute. Please read through below our policy regarding " Changes, Amendments and Postponement of events".
(f) Maventor does not guarantee that "mentors" mentioned on this site will be the only ones , mentoring the events. Maventor reserves the right and has been to use different "mentors" how ever we ensure that any Mentor we use are all Microsoft certified trainers with years of training experience and appropriate SharePoint 2010 skill set.
Confirmation
(a) Maventor confirm all registrations when an online ticket is received by the client pursuant to payment being received. If you have not received your confirmation in form of e-ticket upon making the payment by credit card using third party partner www.eventrac.com then please email us handsonday@maventor.com or alternatively call us during normal working hours of 9 AM to 5 PM on 03 9016 9787.(b) A confirmation does guarantee your attendance but does not guarantee that a particular event will be run . You have the option to choose any next available event in case it is cancelled or postponed .
Cancellations
(a) Our cancellation policy and deadlines for each event is clearly indicated on terms and conditions available as a link on our registration page and FAQ section of our website. Cancellations made 14 days before the event will be fully refund (less 3% minimum administrative charge) or the client has option transfer to same open event, subject to availability. If we receive cancellations within the 14 business days from the event. A refund cannot be arranged. There would be a 50% administrative charge and client has only option to request the the value to be used in shape of hands on day voucher to be transferred to remaining , open event subject to availability. Cancellations received after the deadline or failure to attend the event without prior cancellation within the deadline in this case We will charge 100% of the ticket.(b) When written notification is received less than 14 days, No refund can be arranged. Clients are able to transfer the vouchers to other delegates of their choice. Attendees have to pay remaining 50% by direct transfer details to attend the chosen event, which can be requested by contacting us handsonday@maventor.com to be able to attend the next available open event of their choice (subject to availability).
(c)Transferring tickets In the event that you cannot attend to receive the for which you booked, your ticket is transferable to another person, provided that you identify to us the person to whom you wish to transfer your ticket together with full contact details for your substitute, at least seven (07) days before the Event. Once the transfer has taken place the transferee will be bound by the same terms & conditions as the original ticket holder.
Diet Requirements
If you require a vegetarian meal “Maventor” will try to ensure this is made available subject to reasonable prior notice. Please state your request at the time of booking and we will confirm by phone or email at least 3 days before the event.Liability
The Client acknowledges that “Maventor has made no warranties that the Services will be error free.The Client agrees that “Maventor” will not be liable or responsible for any failure in, or delay to, the provision of the Services or in “Maventor” complying with its obligations under this Agreement where such failure or delay has a arisen as a direct or indirect result of:
(a) fire, earthquake, storm, flood, hurricane, inclement weather or other act of God, war, terrorism, explosion, sabotage, industrial accident or an industrial strike;
(b) denial of service attacks, telecommunications failure, hardware failure or the failure of software provided by a third party to function in accordance with its specifications; .
(c) The failure of any third party (including without limitation, any bank or other financial organisation) or any other third party service provider to fulfil any obligations to “Maventor.”
(e) any other circumstances or event similar to the above which are beyond the reasonable control of “Maventor’s”.
(f) The Client acknowledges that “Maventor’s” has not made and will not make any express or implied warranties in relation to the Services or any other goods or services provided by “Maventor’s” under this Agreement, other than those warranties contained in this Agreement..
(g) Any loss or damage to equipment or property will be the responsibility of the Client and all replacement and repair costs will be charged in full.
(h) Maventor does not accept any responsibility for the loss or damage of personal property belonging to clients or their guests.
(i) Neither the Maventor nor its employees shall be liable for any injury, damage, loss, illness, delay or expense caused to the client, its employees, licensees or invitees or any other person or any other persons attending the booked Event except insofar as such injury, loss, illness, delay or expense results from the proven negligence or deliberate action or omission of the Maventor. The liability shall in all cases be limited to the sums paid less administrative cost by the Client and excludes all indirect or consequential loss of whatever nature.
Changes , Amendment and Postponement of Events
Maventor reserves the right to amend, postpone or cancel any event or event times and dates. This includes changes to speakers,mentors , content and program at anytime . If events are cancelled or postponed due to lower than minimum required attendance of 8 persons. Client cannot request a refund and has only option to attend next available event of their choice ( Subject to availability ). Maventor is not bound by any time line to announce next set of cancelled or postponed events.No recording or transmittal allowed
The intellectual property of Maventor in shape of training manual will remain of Maventor and only the participant rights are limited to their personal use. No decimation or copy in what ever shape is allowed.During Hands On Day session no recording or decimation whether by video camera allowed. All recording, using mobile or all other devices and means is prohibited..
